We are thrilled to introduce kantha to our collection.
| Kantha stitch is an old tradition of Rajasthan, done by village women. It is basically a series of running stitches over layers of recycled cotton saree. |
| While traditionally used to make home linens such as bedspreads and quilts, applying the same techniques to garments has given this |
| industry a new lease of life and help support the livelihood of kantha artisans. |
| Our kantha garments are ethically produced by a group of women in Rajasthan. Our factory has been giving them gainful employment for over |
| 10 years now; enabling them to have a steady income throughout the year. |
| ANANNASA KANTHA GARMENTS: |
| Every garment is made up of a different set of patchwork. The patchwork is randomly created depending on what recylced cotton sarees are |
| available to our artisans. |
| Typically, we use 2 to 3 layers of cloth for our pieces. |
| Edges of the garments are sometimes deliberately left as a raw edge. |
| For our garments, we have chosen to use overlocking instead of the raw edge. |
| Every garment has been prewashed and washed 3 times and tested for colour runs before shipment. |
