Our Story
ANANNASA is more than just a fashion label, it’s a lifestyle.
Launched in 2014 by Sher Lo, a self-taught designer with a rich background in the global fashion industry, our label has become a testament to exquisite craftsmanship and cultural inspiration.
Originally hailing from Malaysia, Sher's career in fashion and product merchandising flourished across Singapore and Hong Kong before she eventually planted her roots in Australia, where the label was born.
ANANNASA, derived from the Hindi word for "pineapple," embodies Sher's love for both the fruit and the Indian sub-continent, a constant source of inspiration for her creations. Our collections are meticulously crafted, always designed from the heart and influenced by the beauty of our planet, which shines through in every unique piece.
ANANNASA embraces intricate details, featuring techniques such as elaborate beadwork, playful tassels, delicate embroidery, and the timeless appeal of vintage prints and block printing. With an unwavering appreciation for the works of artisans, we strive to incorporate these elements in all our collections.
We beckon you to embrace life's adventures through our pieces, each one a unique expression of artistry and wanderlust. Enduring additions to any wardrobe, our creations are crafted to be both long-lasting and recognisably us. We invite you to explore our collections and indulge in the timeless elegance that defines ANANNASA.
